Primary Expert Teachers

The schools which make up Merton Special Teaching Alliance and Merton School Partners have a range of Primary Expert Teachers (PETS) who work in schools across Merton.

Emma Westwood 

                                                  

                                          

Emma is Assistant Head and Head of Early Years at Perseid Lower School, having taught in both mainstream and special schools for the past 10 years.  She is a PROACT SCIP-UK Instructor, a Signalong Tutor and can provide training on ASD, challenging behaviour and early language development. Emma currently leads the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders  and the Leaders for the Future programmes for MSTA.

Camilla Cronin-Reay

 Camilla is currently a class teacher at Perseid Lower School. She has extensive experience of supporting pupils who have ASD. She holds the advanced TEACCH qualification and is a accredited PECS implementer. Camilla is experienced in delivering autism -specific training to Perseid staff and wider audiences.
