DfE workload reduction toolkit
We are pleased to tell you about a DfE/TSC-funded project supporting schools to use the Workload Reduction Toolkit and to invite you to apply to be part of it.
The Toolkit was developed in response to the Workload Challenge surveys, research projects and reports from the working parties. London South TSA has been designated by the Teaching Schools Council to support schools in Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South London to use it effectively and to evaluate its impact. You can read further details on this flyer.
If your school would like to apply to be part of the project, please complete and submit this form by Friday, 22nd March:
There is a limit to the number of schools with whom we work, and these must represent the range of provision: primary, secondary and special. They cannot therefore guarantee inclusion and encourage schools to apply as soon as possible.
The issue of teacher workload is more timely than ever before. Addressing teacher workload can be a huge game-changer in terms of:
- Recruitment and retention
- Work/life balance and wellbeing
- Allowing teachers to focus on activities that have the strongest impact on pupil outcomes
We hope that you will apply to be part of this project.
